Winner of GameDev.tv Game Jam 2021

A tiny noir-style point-and-click adventure. Join Detective Buckshot "Bucky" Jones on his first adventure as he meanders through his miserable life.

The theme was 'All that glistens is not gold'. We skipped the 'gold' part and went with the meaning of the phrase;

the attractive external appearance of something is not a reliable indication of its true nature

You need to have an item equipped to use it. Open the inventory and drag the item you need to the hand/sleeve position

There are several references to The Merchant of Venice. Some are obvious, and some are not. See if you can spot them all!

The standalone works on Windows

2.1 - Full Screen

  • Added full screen capability and a standalone build

For anyone confused, you must remove the bolt cutters from your hand, and replace them with the small key. Same goes for the large key. Absolutely lovely game though.

Thank you for playing!
