Nostalgia
A little experimental multiplayer (just 2) game I made for The Honest Jam VII. I didn't have much time so it's not complete... Sadly. There are loads of content I planned to make but just never got to it. Story of my life...
The game is heavily inspired by the old Police Quest and Space Quest games by Sierra. You walk around with the arrow keys and type what you want your character to do. It utilizes a very simple verb-noun parser with a very limited vocabulary so you may need to try several options to get the correct thing to happen - just like in the old days.
NOTE: The bits that are there definitely require two players to play. There isn't much content (hardly any) but you will not be able to get to the 'end' without another player.
The windows version is recommended but the web version should work fine, just make sure it is in full screen mode.
Tips for getting started (for the newer generations):
At the start, when the CLI comes up, type 'DIR'. There you will find an executable called 'game.exe'. type 'game' (or 'game.exe') to start the game. This is not YOUR CLI. this is in-game. You will not find a 'game.exe' in your own CLI. From there, just follow the on-screen stuff
There is no music, and only one sound effect. This is all because of time...
